La Sportiva è l’azienda trentina leader mondiale nella produzione di scarpette d’arrampicata e di scarponi per l’alta montagna. Fondata nel 1928 dal calzolaio di Tesero (TN) Narciso Delladio e resa celebre in tutto il mondo da Francesco Delladio, è ancora oggi al 100% di proprietà della famiglia Delladio, ha sede a Ziano di Fiemme ai piedi delle Dolomiti ed opera nel settore delle calzature outdoor da oltre 85 anni con l’obiettivo di fornire il miglior prodotto possibile a chi va in montagna in qualsiasi modo e ad ogni latitudine. Il range di prodotti, comprende infatti scarponcini da Hiking, scarponi d’alta quota e da spedizione Himalayane, scarpette d’arrampicata e calzature da Mountain Running. L’azienda è entrata anche nel settore degli scarponi da sci alpinismo e nel mercato dell’abbigliamento tecnico invernale ed estivo, grazie a prodotti innovativi realizzati con le migliori tecnologie e materiali disponibili sul mercato. La Sportiva, la cui principale sede produttiva si trova proprio a Ziano di Fiemme al di fuori dai grandi distretti industriali calzaturieri italiani, è distribuita in più di 70 paesi al mondo.
	La Sportiva was born in 1928 when Narciso Delladio hand-crafted wooden leather boots for many lumber-jacks and farmers of the Fassa and Fiemme valleys (Dolomites, Italy). After the war, the demand for boots increased obliging Narciso to hire new workers: the good name of "Calzoleria Sportiva" crossed the boarders of the valleys and with the second generation represented by Francesco Delladio, started to become a worldwide known brand. Starting from here the La Sportiva’s history continued to grow. Now the firm produces in Fiemme Valley boots and shoes for all kind of outdoor activities from climbing and mountain, categories in which La Sportiva has the market leadership, to mountain running, hiking and the skimountaineerging market. Recently the company entered in the skimountaineering segment and in the apparel market too with a complete selection of technical clothes for running, skimountaineering and climbing. La Sportiva who produces mainly in his headquarter at Ziano di Fiemme, is distributed in more then 70 countries worldwide. .
